Dried Sweet Corn (Snack Corn)
Cooked and processed at early maturity within hours of picking. No
herbicides, pesticides, or preservatives. Can be eaten (slowly) as
snack corn or added to soups, returning to full tenderness in 20
minutes. Keeps good texture even with long cooking. Available in
Regular Flavor or Cajun Spiced.

Dried Apples
Quarter-inch cored rings of sweet and firm apples, with skin. Conventionally grown or organic (please inquire regarding availabilty). Not cooked.

Quarter-inch slices, broken into bits and chunks. No herbicides,
pesticides, or preservatives. Not cooked.

Dried Tomatoes
Quarter-inch slices of Roma Tomatoes fully ripened on the vine. No
herbicides, pesticides, or preservatives. Not cooked.

Dried Mushrooms
Stem-free Oyster Mushrooms, Fedora strain. Grown on pasteurized straw
and wheat bran. Large pieces. No pesticides or preservatives (straw
used for growing medium was conventionally farmed). Not cooked.

Dried Carrots
Eighth-inch slices of good, sweet carrots. No herbicides, pesticides, or preservatives. Not cooked.

Dried Green Beans
Half-inch pieces of slim, cooked and dried green beans. Visually unappealing when dry. Swell nicely and maintain good texture when re-hydrated. No herbicides, pesticides, or preservatives. |

Sisters Farm Veggie Stew
Combination of dried sweet corn, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots and green beans in equal parts.
By itself or extended with
quick-cooking rice, barley, or cous-cous, with or without mild cajun
spice on the corn.
Mix the 5 oz. package with 2 cups of water, bring to a boil and let sit 5 minutes. Spice to taste. Yields 2 large servings. |
